My ferrets have been out of food for more than 24 hours and i just noticed now. I've been horribly hectic for the past two days. Its 10:30 at night and i have no way of getting their food due to the fact that all pet stores are closed. I can go at 9 in the morning and get them food but will they last that long, they are still very active and come right up to me by the cage and still seem to be retaining fat on their bones. Is there anything i can feed them in the household?

Go buy some raw meat. Surely there'd be a store around at that time of night still selling it.

If this ever happens again you can buy a half-way decent quality cat food at any 24 hour drug store/convenience store/walmart - lots of places are open all night. It might not be their favorite but after 24 hours they would probably eat anything.
