I consider this an emergency situation now as my girl has not eaten since Tuesday!!!! I got a new baby girl on Tuesday evening. I have been giving her a lot of attention, and named her Sophie. I normally feed my other 4 a mix of Evo, Zupreem, and Dr. Fosters Smith, but Sophie will not touch it! I tried hand feeding it with no success. She also has zero interest in ferretone, treats, or chew sticks. I called where I got her to see what she was fed (Marshall Ferret Supreme) and got her a small bag. She won't touch that either. They said they mix with water to soften it, so I tried that too. Nothing! I tried feeding on a spoon and off my finger. She will NOT take it and fights when I try to stick some in her mouth (she spits it out). I am VERY worried about her (obviously), and have no idea what else to do. If ANYONE has ANY ideas, please let me know! My poor little girl is starvinf herself.

You need to force feed her with a syringe until she starts eating on her own. Are you sure she isn't eating when your not looking? Anyway my vet tells me they need at least 30 cc of food a day. I have had to force feed and it's not fun but it gets them going again. I'm sending lots of good thoughts and prayers.

When Dakota was sick and wouldn't even eat soup, he would take some warmed up baby food - stage 2 chicken or turkey, from my finger. Just a thought. Good luck and keep us posted.

I think she heard me typing... I went back and forced somemushy Marshall's in her mouth. After a few impressive spit-outs, she took a little. I put her back in the playpen and a few minutes later found her digging out the marshall's in the food bowl, taking one piece and hiding somewhere to eat one at a time. This morning I found her chowing down. She's quite the little piggy! I guess she had a lot of making up to do. I was so scared once she wouldn't even take her regular food. Thanks for all the advice!

She's actually doing quite well. At her first vet visit, they said she looks great. She's eating well and a little chubby, but that makes her so cute. I'll have to post some pics!
