At my local Vet clinic, there are three vets which are very good with ferrets. I really wouldn't trust anyone else.
They've done surgery on my Kit and now she's better than ever.
Also, the one vet's husband works at the ER Clinic and works with a lot of ferrets.
Companian Animal Hospital (570) 374-2247 Rt 35 & Old Rt 15 Selinsgrove, PA
and
Animal Emergency Center 395 Susquehanna Trail, Watsontown PA 17777. You can reach the center directly at 742-7400. Clinic hours 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Monday through Friday and from Noon Saturday until 7:00 AM Monday.

Sorry I didn't ad more info yesterday...I was in a rush but I really like
Dr. Len Donato Radnor Vet Hospital Radnor, PA 610-687-1550
He was recommended to me from the PA Ferret Club & Shelter. He seems very knowledgeable on all exotic pets, particularly ferrets. He strongly believes that surgery is the best way to go when dealing with some of the cancers and he is very experienced with them. I travel all the way out of the city to take my ferret to him.

he's excellent with the ferrets. their pricing is very reasonable - for ferrets as well as other animals - most specifically the surgery fees.

I have had two good experiances with vets here in PA, one was already mentioned but I MUST mention him again! My boy was just diagnosed with insolinoma and Adrenal and he totally worked with me with them and I was very impressed Dr. Wagner is wonderful with our fuzzies:
Harleysville Veterinary Hospital, Harleysville, Pennsylvania. Dr. Wagner is recommended as the ferret vet on staff and is an excellent ferret veterinarian. Other vets at the clinic will also see ferrets (some have proven knowledgable) if you've got an emergency. (215) 256-4664. Vets on call 24 hours a day for clients.
And because he does not have Lupron for our adrenal fuzzies at hand (he mostly does surgeries) he suggested another ferret expert in PA who is not that far from him, who also works with ferrets and they do provide once a month lupron shots for them ( at 44$ no cover cost) which saves you a LOT of money, and not only that, they really care about them:
Horsham Veterinary Hospital, Horsham, Pennsylvania; Dr. Anna Edling. Dr. Edling is one of the "official veterinarians of the PFCS." (215)674-1PET.
Excellent vets here!!!
Thanks!
