I got a reply from Greenies today. It said there is now a place on their site to request free samples for your dog, cat or both. Here it is:

Quick question- do any of these companies put you on mailing lists when you give them your address? (aka are there any I should avoid so my parents don't get junk mail from them?) I think I may get some samples for my cat. He's not picky at all, so he'll love whatever treats I can get my hands on.

I was just wondering if this happened to anyone else but Natrual Balance sent 2 boxes with 26 bags in each box! I also got samples 2 different times from Totally ferret, I got samples from wysong, innova, the ferret store, and path vally farms. Marshalls and some others never emaild me back, I am going to email them again. I am sopposed to get my chicken soup samples tomarrow or friday!!!

I emailed some back and still didnt hear back, so I am not going to bug them anymore, So marshalls just sends out samples and does not reply? How lond does it ake for Marshalls.

Ya I got 52 bags of food from Natrual Balance, they are the single serving bags, so probley emough for like 2 weeks or so plus all the other samples, I am set for like the rest of the year!!

I just received free samples for greenies for cats. That was quick! The ferrets love them and they sent me a pack of each flavor!
