[/center][/glow][/size]While toys are great for ferrets to play with while you’re busy or not at home, there is nothing like some good one-on-one (or one-on-six for some of you
) play time. There are numerous games that you can play with you ferrets, and you’ll enjoy lots of entertainment and laughs the entire time!•Towel Rides: Many ferrets will love racing after a towel or blanket, and hopping on for a fun ride. Just drag a towel across the floor and see if your fuzzy responds! Ferrets will also enjoy having the towel swept over top of them and suddenly pulled back off of them
•Water fun: Another fun game that almost all fuzzies enjoy is snorkeling in water. Water play can be in a bathtub, kiddie pool, or even just a large bowl/casserole dish filled with water. Things like ice cubes and bottle caps can be fun for added entertainment. Ferrets will love snorkeling underwater, and bobbing for the bottle caps and ice cubes floating in the water! Make sure you ferrets is supervised at all times when playing with water!
•Hidey Hole Mayhem: This game is sure to keep your critter busy. Go to one (or all) of your ferrets hidey holes and begin to remove the items which they have stored. Place them all around the home, or their play area, and watch them frantically try to put them all back! When I want to keep my ferret occupied, this is what I do. She’s very unconcerned with anything else that may be going on. Her one priority is to get all those hoarded items back where they “belong”
• Chasing: It’s always fun to get down on your hands and knees, and chase your little fuzzy around. Often, ferrets will chase back, dance around and play hide-and-seek as you scurry after them.
