We're moving to Louisville Ky around September, actually probably Southern Indiana because in Louisville there is a license you have to have for every ferret you own (about 100 per ferret...) Anyways, so I was wondering if anyone knew of a ferret vet in Louisville or Southern Indiana....or maybe a website that could point me in the right direction. Thanks

www.aemv.org/This is the website of the Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians. It has a link at the top that says Vet Listings. That should point you in the right direction.

thanks for the website, unfortunately the clsoest vet they have listed is over an hour away, I was kind of hoping to find a vet that was a little closer...but I guess an hours drive is better then not having a vet at all

Oh man..I'm sorry. When I read your post I was going to recommend my vet, but she is in Indianapolis which could possibly be at least two or three hours from you. Hopefully, you can talk with someone in that area who owns ferrets.

I definately don't suggest banfield. A quick google search turned up this post on craigslist about a ferret club forming in Louisville. Might be worth trying to get in touch with the contact for more information. louisville.craigslist.org/pet/170487192.html

Did you end up in Louisville? I go to a wonderful vet, and they now sell ferrets here.
