I was letting Juju play out on the lawn with my dog locked away..she was having a great time until something scared her...she was running so fast I couldn't catch her...right onto the other side of the backyard...under the gate, where my dog was....my father and I were running faster than we ever ran before to save her, and he quickly picked up my dog...then needed to get her out under furniture (there was a entry to under the house)...thankfully I managed to get out out...but this could of been a disaster... I feel so horrible and haven't been able to sleep...it has taught me a lesson though, Do not play with your ferret anywhere that hasn't been ferret proofed, even if she's under constant supervision!!!

yeah, i learnt the hard way last week... dont let your ferrets under your couch... its not a good idea, my poor pudge died last week, not sure if it was cuz he was squished or if he was sick and i didnt notice.. .either way the other boys are not allowed under there, we took the legs off

I think many of us with ferrets learn some things the hard way. Some of us are luckier than others. Ferrets are just such a unique pet that until you've owned them for quite awhile, you just can't wrap your head around all the things that can possibly happen to them. Sorry about Pudge

So sorry about pudge Try not to feel too bad about it, because pudge knows it was an accident and how much you loved him...
